It's that time of year again we are apple picking for the food cupboards at Wickham Farms on Monday, November 3rd starting at 9 am going about noon. Invite your friends and family to help out! Make sure to bring gloves, 1-2 bags for apples to take home and wear sturdy shoes!

Penfield Ecumenical Food Shelf will collect turkeys to hand out for Thanksgiving.  You can drop off on Friday, November 21st  from 3:00-5:00 pm or Saturday November 22nd from 7:30am-8am.  They are asking for 10-14 pound turkeys. Address is at 1618 Jackson Road.

Join us to say "Thank you" to the Baywinde residents for sharing their home for our Euchre Tournament a few weeks ago. Please bring a home made or bakery made dessert to share. We look forward to enjoying some delicious treats and great conversation!

December 6th we will ring bells inside Tops in Panorama Plaza from 2-4:00pm.  We will have half hour shifts.  Please let Tara know what shift you would like to cover.

December club meeting is Tuesday, December 9th from 5-6:30 at Shadow Lake. Our speaker is from SpiritNYS founded by Mary Thompson and her husband that aids to prevent high school dropouts for home insecure teenagers in the City of Rochester. 

Please bring non-perishable food and deodorant for the teenagers. We will collect it at the meeting and present it to SpiritNYS.

The "Waste Not" committee of Color Penfield Green has organized a Christmas tree pick up on January 10th to try and increase the participation in the mulching of trees that the Town of Penfield offers.

Penfield Rotary will be helping to load as many trees as possible  on January 10th. Go here to sign up to have your tree picked up. https://www.colorpenfieldgreen.org/

It will be great to see less trees going to the landfills and being turned into valuable mulch instead. If you can help out - either with trucks or drivers, please email ldarin13@gmail.com.

Suggested items are jerky sticks, chips , cookies.  Deodorant and axe body spray are most appreciated. Bring the items to the January and February meetings. We will fill 60 bags for Spirit NYS at the end of our February Meeting.

Drop off Prom or Formal Gowns to the Penfield Community Center, Senior Room. Dresses should be prom or formal gowns that are
clean, in excellent condition, and reflect current styles. We also accept formal shoes, prom jewelry and
accessories. Time to clean out those closets!

The Penfield Fire Company is comprised of 100% VOLUNTEERS of both men and women from the local community of Penfield. The Penfield Fire Company operates within the Penfield Fire District which is roughly 30 square miles that covers a majority of the town of Penfield along with parts of the town of Perinton.The fire company member’s supply fire suppression, rescue operations, supplemental medical support and various other services to our community whenever called upon.  We respond 24 hours a day 365 days a year to help anyone in the community during a time of need.The Penfield Fire Company is supported by the generosity of donations from the community.

Saturday, February 21, 2026, register at 9:00AM, seminar at 9:30am at the Rochester Rotary Offices, 180 Linden Oaks, Rochester NY 14625 in their Training Room in basement level.  Parking is available next to the building.

Each club President-Elect and Foundation Chair, or their representatives, are required to complete a district-sponsored Grant Management Seminar (GMS) or the My.Rotary.Org Learning Center online course.

Saturday March 7th from 10am-12pm, at Harris Hill Elementary.  Rotarians help man the snacks and drink stations as well as pitt crew for derby car repairs!.  Older scouts as "runners" that help retrieve the cars from the end of the track and get cars ready for the next heat. About the Nucor House

Welcome to the Nucor House, a sober living facility operated as a part of Warrior Salute Veteran Services. The Nucor House, named after benefactor Nucor Steel, is fully furnished and includes all amenities for its residents. Food and transportation are also included, as well as case management services for veterans

The District Learning Assembly is designed to educate Rotary members who have been selected by the president elect to take on important club leadership responsibilities in the coming year. In addition, the assembly also welcomes participation from all other members—whether they are new to Rotary or have longstanding experience—who wish to enhance their understanding of Rotary's mission, programs, and best practices.

 Every Rotary member in District 7120 is welcome to attend the District Learning Assembly!
