Fall Euchre Tournament Online Registration Closed

Online Registration is Cosed. Please call Dennis at 585-613-1600 if you're insterested in playing.

Date & Time: Saturday, October 19th, 2024   Check-in opens at 10:00 am ♦ Start time is 11:00 am sharp!

Location: Baywinde at Castle Pointe (by the Bayview YMCA) 200 Kidd Castle Way, Webster

Parking: Bayview YMCA, follow the signs, shuttle provided

Tickets: $30 per person (Includes water, coffee and snacks. Other beverages and food will be available for purchase during the games.)

Proceeds will benefit the Penfield Ecumenical Food Shelf.

Apple Picking For Food Pantry

It's that time of year again we are apple picking for the food cupboards on November 1st starting at 9 am going to done or noon whichever comes first! Invite your friends and family to help out! Make sure to bring gloves and wear sturdy shoes!

We will be collecting items for our January Service Project for Matthew's Closet

When Help is Most Needed -

Matthew’s Closet is a clothing ministry started in 1991 by parishioners of Corpus Christi Church with the intent of providing clothing to those in need without regard for their ability to pay.  It is through the ministry of St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Parish that we continue to support our community. More than half of the Closet’s annual operating budget is raised through sale of gently, used clothing and housewares.

Items needed: Dishes, Utensils (Forks, Spoons, Knives), Pots & Pans, Shower Curtains, Winter Coats, Blankets, Towels, Sheets, Children’s Clothing (5T and up), Jeans - Men’s, Women’s, Teens, Kids, Shoes, Sneakers, Bowls, Small Appliances:(toasters, coffee makers, crockpots)

We want to say thank-you to the Baywinde residents for allowing us to invade thier home for the Euchre Tournament last fall. Please bring your favorite tasty dessert; cakes, pies, cookies, brownies, cupcakes, etc. (no pre-packaged, store bought items please). The more we bring, the more residents we can serve! If you dont have time to bake, visit your favorite bakery!

“Marionettes by Rachel” at Rundel Library

We are very privledged to have a private tour of this exquisit exhibit “Marionettes by Rachel” at the Rundel Library, given by her brother Christopher. Meet in the Court St Parking Garage (194 Court St, Rochester, NY 14604) at 10:00 am and we will go up together.

Background: Rachel Hennelly
“Marionettes by Rachel” entertained thousands of children and adults at dozens of venues; the Lincoln Center Out of Doors Festival; The Museum of Natural History; the Brooklyn Academy of Music; Paramount Theater; Madison Square Garden and was selected to be an act for MTA’s Music/Art in Subway Station series as well as the Holiday Market at Grand Central Station. Since Rachel’s passing in 2022 her family has continued to display her work in other venues including: Ridgewood Public Library, Ridgewood NJ, Hasbrouck Heights Free Public Library, Johnson Public Library in Hackensack NJ, and Holiday Preview Display at Ocean Grove Historical Association. And now it’s in Rochester at the Central Library! Rachel during her lifetime focused on entertaining children and adults through her marionettes. Her vast career in the arts of dance, performance, musical theater, circus arts allowed her to take what she brought to the stage and bring anywhere, including the New York City Subway System with her Marionettes.
