Saturday March 7th from 10am-12pm, at Harris Hill Elementary.  Rotarians help man the snacks and drink stations as well as pitt crew for derby car repairs!.  Older scouts as "runners" that help retrieve the cars from the end of the track and get cars ready for the next heat. Welcome to the Nucor House, a sober living facility operated as a part of Warrior Salute Veteran Services. The Nucor House, named after benefactor Nucor Steel, is fully furnished and includes all amenities for its residents. Food and transportation are also included, as well as case management services for veterans

The District Learning Assembly is designed to educate Rotary members who have been selected by the president elect to take on important club leadership responsibilities in the coming year. In addition, the assembly also welcomes participation from all other members—whether they are new to Rotary or have longstanding experience—who wish to enhance their understanding of Rotary's mission, programs, and best practices.

 Every Rotary member in District 7120 is welcome to attend the District Learning Assembly!

Welcome to 2nd Annual Chasing Chains for Charity!

Proceeds from this tournament will benefit Dream Factory, granting dreams to critically and chronically ill children and the Rotary Club of Penfield.supporting the Penfield community through service projects.

This is a two-round, best-shot doubles Disc Golf tournament designed to broaden the visibility of local Rochester-area charities, and to help them raise money for local community reinvestment.

REGISTER to PLAY HERE

• The competition will feature tworounds with teams of two selecting a division from Amateur, Mixed, or Advanced. Advanced and the top 3 Mixed teams will receive cash payouts.
• Charities will receive payouts based on total earnings from various sources, including player fundraising, which is strongly encouraged and benefits the teams by enabling stroke subtractions from the team's final score.
• For every $50 (rounded down) of fundraising that is attributed to your team, one stroke will be removed from your teams final score. For example, if your team fundraises $650 in donations, then 6 strokes will be removed from your final score. There is no cap for strokes earned this way. 
• Additionally, attendees will have day-of opportunities to contribute and win prizes through a 50/50 raffle, an Ace Pool, the purchase of mulligans (max 2 per team, per hole), and a raffle for sponsor baskets.

PLL is run by volunteers, and every dollar you contribute goes directly towards our players and facilities. The experience of being at the park on a Saturday in June is sacred to our community, and something we would like to share with you.

With that in mind, we would like to welcome you to the complex on Saturday, June 6th for Sponsor Appreciation Day. Games start at 9am, and run through the afternoon. 

This experience will include:

• Throwing out the first pitch for one our games 
• Meeting your team
• Up to (2) lunch vouchers at Rose's
• Facility Tour 

We will also begin unveiling our plans to celebrate PLL's 75th Anniversary next summer. Please let us know if you would like to be involved in those plans. We have several opportunities that will help make it a memorable celebration.

Penfield Little League's last baseball game of the season. Penfield Rotary's team (Single A Phillies) will be playing at the Penfield town hall on Mid-Middle field at 10:20 AM.  Debbie Wyspianski will be throwing the first pitch.  Please join us at the kids last game of the season

Parade Route: Penfield High School to Penfield Community Center via Penfield Road, Route 441.

Parade Line-up starts at 9:30am at the high school, roads will close by 9:45am. It will be easiest to park at the community center and walk down to the high school.

The Penfield Rotary will be assisting the Penfield Food Shelf again this summer with food distribution on Wednesday mornings along with providing great recipes each week.  Sign up to help and share your favorite easy summer vegatable and fruit recipes!

We will be eating dinner with the campers at Camp Haccamo, Rotary Sunshine Camp. Watch for details.

​About Camp Haccamo - Since 1956, the Rotarians of the greater Rochester area have operated Camp Haccamo. In 2009, Camp Haccamo moved to its new location on the Sunshine Campus in Rush NY. Camp Haccamo is a Rotary Camp designed to provide a FREE, safe and fun summer camping experience for children and adults with a wide range of special needs.

​Camp Haccamo offers:

• A weeklong, overnight camping experience
• A ratio of one counselor per two campers.
• A chance for a respite for camper’s families.
• Special events like the Carnival Nights,
• Talent Show, and Prom. 

Join us and the Nucor residents to fill 100 backpacks for children at school 54. We will be collecting school supplies in the coming weeks, watch for an email with a list of what is needed. Pizza served after the work is done!
