23 Aug 2024 Penfield's Health and Wellness Fair Aug 23, 2024 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM Stop by the Penfield Rotary tent at the Town of Penfield's first-ever Community Health and Wellness Fair is happening on Friday, August 23 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Penfield Community Center (1985 Baird Road). "Come Experience Rotary" The family-friendly event will feature health, safety, and wellness organizations from throughout the area. Highlighting the event is an opportunity for kids to get an up-close experience with a variety of equipment from Penfield DPW, Penfield Fire Department, and Penfield Volunteer Emergency Ambulance. The Rochester Regional Mobile Mammography Center will be in attendance offering free mammograms. Food trucks and entertainment will also be at the event.

05 Oct 2024 Penfield Bike Drop Off 2024 Oct 05, 2024 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM Penfield Rotary and Penfield Recreation will sponsor the annual Community Bike Drop on Saturday, October 5th at Penfield Community Center, 1985 Baird Rd. from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm. All bicycles collected will be donated to R Community Bikes, Inc. for repair and redistribution to needy children and adults in the Rochester area. All types of bikes are needed, including children’s tricycles, toddler plastic bikes and bike parts. Receipts will be available. R Community Bikes, Inc. is a grassroots 501c3 organization that collects and repairs used bicycles for distribution, free of charge, to Rochester’s most needy children and adults. Its mission is to meet the basic transportation needs of those in the community who depend on bikes to get to work and training sessions, as well as for recreation.
