Our August service project: collecting 100 packets of supplies for children at No. 54 School in Rochester. If you would like to contribute supplies, we are still in need of boxes of markers, folders with prongs, erasers (3 in a package) and pencil cases (not a priority due to cost). Our Atria members are filling small bottles with hand sanitizer for us. For other items needed, please contact Mary Ann at mamady@rochester.rr.com. We will meet at 1:00 at the Harris-Whalen Park shelteron Aug. 25 to fill the backpacks—actually fabric bags with string pulls that can be carried as bags or used as back packs. We can put items on the tables and walk around filling them one at a time and remaining socially distanced. **Bring you lunch & beverage** We have been donating school supplies for about 8 years. Here is a picture from 2012. We started out with just about two boxes. Boy! Have we grown!!! Wait until you see what we have on Tuesday ! Congratulations and thank you. |
